Botswana features world-renowned game reserves for African wildlife safaris, offering some of the finest collections of luxury safari accommodation in Africa. In Botswana, you will experience an African wilderness journey like no other. The large concentration of game in the private concessions is incomparable to elsewhere in Africa, making it the most highly-sought after destination for a luxury safari, yet accessible to only a handful of visitors due to the limited number of authentic luxury camps, in truly private areas.

Botswana’s greatest wildlife experiences are in these private concessions; safari areas where you journey to find the best private wildlife & wilderness experiences. The safari camps that Into Seychelles recommends are all in these limited-availability private concessions.

After an exhilarating safari experience in Botswana, take some time off in Seychelles. The luxurious North Island resort in the Seychelles, located 20 minutes away from the main island of Mahe by private helicopter, offers a romantic beach villa ambiance, overlooking one of the most incredible beach settings in the world - on a large and private island in the Indian Ocean. Your private in-room plunge pool offers exclusivity to share some quiet time, enjoying breathtaking Seychelles sunsets together.

Recently voted in the Conde Nast Hot list 2006, Vumbura Plains Camp is a brand new luxury safari camp situated in the well-established Vumbura private concession bordering Moremi to the north of the Okavango in Botswana.

Mombo Camp is located on Mombo Island, at the north of Chief's Island, within the Moremi in the Okavango, northern Botswana. Mombo Island is surrounded by floodplains teeming with Africa's Big Mammals, and Mombo camp is secluded in the shade of a vast forest, overlooking these floodplains.

North Island epitomizes barefoot luxury through impeccable service and handmade designer villas located right on a luxuriously pristine beach.

Fine Cuisine
At your Cape Town hotel, exquisite meals created by acclaimed international chefs are displayed to perfection on china, silver and crystal. Ellerman House has one of the finest collections of vintage wines in South Africa; each individually selected by a master sommelier to enhance our guest's experience. Around the city, a cosmopolitan scene takes you anywhere from fine French dining to a laid-back bistro overlooking a working harbor. The most popular restaurants amongst the locals have a young and contemporary appeal, offering a remarkable fusion of continental dishes infused with locally–inspired flavors and ingredients.

On safari, wholesome home-style cooking at elegantly-set dining tables (sometimes under the stars, sometimes under thatch or canvas), is where guests can discuss and debate the day's events with their guides and other guests. Meals are simply prepared and cater to international palates, with a touch of unique traditional African flavors and recipes.

The North Island cuisine is based on all the cultural diversity and influences of the Creole flavor, combining culinary aspects of Seychelles, France and southern Indian spices with the organic produce of North Island and abundant natural resources on offer from the Indian Ocean. Balanced in simplicity, at North Island you expect a feast that will awaken all of your senses. The ‘no menu’ concept on North Island offers a customized dining experience. Chef David Godin speaks to each guest to discover personal preferences, favorites and dietary requirements, and then develops his menus daily around this information. Complimented by a cellar with some of the world's great wines and champagnes – one can expect renowned South African favorites from Hamilton Russel; or International award-winners from Robert Mondavi and Penfolds. Beach picnics are also offered.

Cape Town experience
Adventurous at day and romantic by night is the West Coast lifestyle offered by Cape Town. You can tailor your time in Cape Town to be chauffeured around the peninsula to witness breathtaking coastal and mountain scenery, or drive up to Cape Point for some hiking and spectacular scenery. Table Mountain is a fantastic visit every visitor should opt for, if the weather is fair, to take in gorgeous city and coastline views. Robben Island is an interesting visit for history buffs and those who wish a glimpse at South Africa's past. The wine country, just 45 minutes away, is another delightful drive through pretty villages located in the mountains. Restaurants throughout Cape Town and the winelands are another highlight of your trip – our exclusive insider's guide offered on booking your trip gives you a local VIP perspective on all things Cape Town. Also on hand is your Into Seychelles personal consultant, offering unmatched knowledge and expertise to tailor the trip of your dreams.

Safari experience
Mombo Camp and Vumbura Plains Camp, combined offer perhaps the best private wildlife viewing experience in Southern Africa, with abundant big game viewing, arguably the best in Botswana. The Safari highlight is the concentration of plains game and all of Africa's major predators - including the big cats. Lion sightings are particularly good. Wild Dog are regularly sighting in peak dry winter season. Birdlife is prolific, with Kingfishers, African Jacana, and the beautiful Lilac Breasted Rollers being particularly common, yet extraordinary sightings.

With a variety of habitats and great diversity of wildlife, the activities are just as diverse. The major safari activity is game viewing in open four-wheel drive Land Rovers (that allow close proximity to animals in the savannah) led by knowledgeable professional guides.

At Vumbura Plains Camp, guided safari walks with experienced rangers, Mokoro (canoeing with a guide on the Okavango) and sunset boat cruises on the Delta, offer guests the opportunity to enjoy Africa from unique perspectives.

Private island experience
North Island offers our guests a rare piece of tropical island paradise with a private beach experience and service tailored to suit your needs and preferred lifestyle. Recreational activities offered at North Island are designed to enjoy the Island and its natural magic, some offering complete freedom to move around North Island at your own pace, either on foot, mountain bike or Island Buggy. Two exhilarating scuba dives per day are offered to guests at no additional cost. Fly fishing from shore or through boat charter is a delight for avid fishermen. North Island–s Sunset cruise is a romantic excursion around North Island and Silhouette Island offering beautiful views of both islands from the sea. North also has good snorkeling around the island, masks and fins are provided. Kayaking is another delightful activity available from the dive center. Depending on the time of year, guests may be lucky enough to witness the Hawksbill and Green turtles laying their eggs on the eastern and western beaches of North Island. Guests are also able to explore the Island by hiking the granite outcrop and crossing the saddle linking the eastern and western plateau, to witness exceptional sea views.
