A twenty minute flight from the main island of Mahé in Seychelles, Frégate Island rises 125 meters out of the Indian Ocean - a tropical island covering three square kilometres. Frégate is an island of outstanding natural beauty - giant granite boulders rise from the pristine white sands of the island’s beaches.

Fregate Island's Marina and PADI Dive Center are situated on the lower plateau of the island, opposite the plantation area. Yachts and motorboats take guests to the dive sites around Frégate. The marina overlooks a blue lagoon, protected by a small reef that restricts the waves and makes the beach here particularly safe for swimmers, snorkelers and first time divers.

Frégate Island offers a range of recreational activities: Two freshwater pools and seven beaches – one of which, Anse Victorin, is renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, are the highlight. Discover a whole other world while snorkeling, explore the ocean aboard a hobie cat or kayak, go game fishing aboard the island's launches, Fregate Bird and Little Fregate – or take a boat excursion to explore a remote island. For those who prefer to stay ashore there is a fully-equipped gym and an extensive library. Guests can also dine in the privacy of their own villa or at the Beach Bar at Anse Bambous. Fregate Island has its own source of freshwater. Most fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs are homegrown on the island. Aside from the abundance of naturally growing mango, papaya, guava, star fruit, coconut, melon and banana, the gardeners also cultivate a vast range of organic produce in the island's plantation and Hydroponics House. Produce is harvested daily and the Fregate's Chef places a firm emphasis on simplicity to maximize the food's natural goodness. Guests can view the produce and savor the distinct aromas of coffee plant, mint, cashew, apples and vanilla – a creeping plant found on many of the island's trees.
